Alysia Reiner

Alysia Reiner is best known from her breakout performance as “Fig” for all 7 seasons of the Netflix Hit Series Orange Is The New Black – for which she took home a SAG Award; and from originating the role of Agent Sadie Deever in Ms. Marvel on Disney+ (Pan Asian Critics Choice Best Ensemble Cast). She also just finished her 5th season as Sunny on Better Things on FX ( nominated for a Critics Choice Award in 2023), her second season as Kathryn in STARZ’s SHINING VALE starring with Courteney Cox and Greg Kinnear, as well as 2 seasons as KIKI on HBO’s THE DEUCE.

Offscreen, Alysia is a dedicated activist and mom. She loves working as a change maker for women and marginalized communities, and is on the board of the Geena Davis Institute for Gender in Media, A Second YOU (serving formerly incarcerated individuals), and the Earth Day Initiative. She is also a proud member of the Resistance Revival Chorus, and a volunteer firefighter (yes, really!).

Alysia loves leading by example and infusing a spirit of positivity into everything she does. Rather than become overwhelmed and depressed by the state of the environment, Alysia loves inspiring change and encourages people to ask how they can rethink their lives, incorporate sustainable habits into their everyday lives. Rather than wallow in the state of the world, Alysia inspires people to take action, and to think about how they can make a difference in their community. She wants to make SHAME and GUILT dirty words, and Alysia loves fortunate to having a platform to spread joy, inspiration, hope and love.

Bethany Hamilton

Mother, Surfer, Speaker, Author

Bethany Hamilton has become a source of inspiration to millions through her story of determination, faith, and hope. At the age of 13, Bethany lost her left arm to a 14-foot tiger shark, which seemed to end her career as a rising surf star. One month after the attack, Bethany returned to the water and within two years had won her first national title. In 2007, she realized her dream of surfing professionally and since then, her story has been told in a New York Times best selling autobiography and in the 2011 film, Soul Surfer.

Bethany is involved in numerous charitable efforts, including The Beautifully Flawed Foundation, which reaches out to amputees and youth, encouraging and offering hope to overcome through Jesus Christ. Using her platform as a professional athlete to promote living a fit and healthy lifestyle, she authored the book Body and Soul in 2014. Bethany’s latest film project, Unstoppable, a surf documentary which showcases her as one of the best women surfers in the world, released theatrically in the USA on July 12, 2019, accompanied by a photo book and a children’s book. Passionate about family and about helping young women be unstoppable in life and faith,  Bethany launched the Unstoppable Living online courses in 2019, a mother-daughter mentorship program in 2022, known as the ‘Ohana Experience, along with another children’s book called Surfing Past Fear. Her greatest joy is being a wife and mother, and she continues to touch and inspire lives globally as a professional surfer and motivational speaker.

Jamie Hess

Jamie Hess is a keynote and TEDx speaker, media personality, wellness entrepreneur, and creator of the popular Instagram account, @NYCfitfam. Dr. Vivienne Ming

Author, Speaker, Professional Mad Scientist

Dr. Vivienne Ming explores maximizing human capacity as a theoretical neuroscientist, delusional inventor, and demented author. Over her career she’s founded 6 startups, been chief scientist at 2 others, and launched the “mad science incubator”, Socos Labs, where she explores seemingly intractable problems—from a lone child’s disability to global economic inclusion—for free. Vivienne’s other companies apply machine learning to lessen the corrosive health effects of chronic stress in communities, fight bias in hiring and promotion, develop neurotechnologies to treat dementia and TBI, and promote learning at home and in school. As a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley's Redwood Center for Theoretical Neuroscience, she pursued her research in cognitive neuroprosthetics.

In her free time, Vivienne designs AI systems to treat her son’s diabetes, predict manic episodes in bipolar sufferers, and reunite orphan refugees with extended family members. For relaxation, she writes science fiction and spends time with her wife and children. Vivienne was named one of “10 Women to Watch in Tech” by Inc. Magazine and one of the BBC’s 100 Women in 2017. Bridget Hilton

Bridget Hilton is obsessed with experiences. Tom D’Eri

Tom D’Eri has dedicated his career to unleashing human potential by creating organizational systems and culture that empower people to grow. Tom is the Co-Founder and COO of Rising Tide Car Wash, an organization that employs over 90 individuals with autism in a successful car wash business.

Tom is also the Co-Founder of Rising Tide U an organization dedicated to teaching others how to harness the autism advantage. In partnership with University of Miami and the Taft Foundation, Tom created The Autism Advantage, the first step-by-step online course that’s designed to help parents learn how to build sustainable social enterprises that employ their loved ones with autism. As of September 2022, Tom’s students have created over 195 jobs for people with autism in 24 businesses.

Luchina Fisher

Director, Writer Producer

Luchina Fisher (she/her) is an award-winning director, writer and producer whose work is at the intersection of race, gender and identity. Her feature directorial debut MAMA GLORIA was a 2022 GLAAD Media Award nominee and broadcast on PBS. Her latest film, the short documentary THE DADS, about five fathers of trans kids on a weekend fishing trip, premiered at SXSW and was acquired by Netflix. The film made DOC NYC’S 2023 Shortlist, won Best Documentary Short at the El Paso Film Festival and an audience award at NewFest. Luchina’s short documentary TEAM DREAM, executive produced by Queen Latifah, was a finalist for The Wrap’s Shortlist and has won numerous festival jury awards. Her second feature LOCKED OUT, about the barriers to Black homeownership, won Best Documentary Feature at the American Black Film Festival, the “Shine the Light” Award at the Freep Festival and an audience award at Woods Hole Film Festival.

Earlier this year, Fisher was awarded the PitchBLACK Film Forum’s top prize for her new project about Black queer representation in music. She is the director of two scripted short films and has written and produced several nationally broadcast documentaries. Her work has been supported by Black Public Media, the Field Foundation, Sisters in Cinema, Brown Girl Doc Mafia, the Queen Collective, Women Make Movies, the Athena Film Festival’s Works in Progress Program, Firelight Media and the National Endowment for the Humanities. Luchina also teaches documentary filmmaking at Yale University. 

 

DJ Danny Ramos AKA “Dramos”

Producer, Host, Speaker, DJ

Best known for his tenure as a Producer and 4th chair on the nationally syndicated radio/television show The Breakfast Club, Dramos is a proud Nuyorican who has impressively stepped out from the shadows of his National Radio Hall of Fame co-hosts, and carved out his own lane in the entertainment industry. Proving to be a jack of all trades; Dramos has garnered attention DJing prominent nightclubs throughout the country, producing independently successful music, as well as being an on-air radio personality on the legendary Z100 in New York and hosting his own television show which airs weekly in 40+ markets across the country via LATV. Most recently, in partnership with iHeart Media, he launched the "Life As A Gringo" podcast which tackles life through the vantage point of American-born Latinos who live their lives existing in a gray area. Those who are looked at as a gringo or “too white” by their family back in their native land, but were constantly reminded that their house smelled different or their parents music was “weird” by the people they grew up with. Met with a strong response, the podcast managed to crack the top 100 Society & Culture podcasts in the world in its first month.

Armed with a “purpose over paycheck” mentality, Dramos uses his platforms to deliver honest and raw commentary on the state of the world; with the ultimate goal of being a positive influence and advocate for his community. From pop culture to the many injustices that plague the Black and Brown communities, Dramos continues to prove himself to be a well informed, and much needed, unapologetic voice for today’s media.
